Shannon offers personal and tailor made sessions to clients who seek her services. She is capable of supporting people who live with the effects of trauma, depression, anxiety, as well as other challenges from the mundane to the extreme. Shannon is passionate about working with clients towards creating the life that they wish. Clients can expect to feel supported, safe, and accepted receiving services. Shannon has worked with individuals raging in age from 14 to 75.

Shannon is currently a registered psychotherapist qualifying.

Shannon is a compassionate and skilled psychotherapist who uses a somatic approach to foster a calm, open, and supportive environment for her clients. Whether navigating challenges like anxiety, depression, or striving for greater psychological flexibility, Shannon prioritizes creating a safe and collaborative space to explore your experiences.

Shannon works with teenagers, adults, and couples, tailoring her approach to meet their unique needs. With teenagers, she creates a warm and approachable space to navigate the complexities of adolescence. For couples, she draws on evidence-based techniques to strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and foster deeper emotional connections.

As an Ontario-certified shame-informed specialist, Shannon integrates talk therapy with body-focused techniques to help clients process emotions and life experiences effectively. She believes that healing begins with trust and connection, and she deeply values the courage it takes to seek support.

Shannon holds a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelor’s degree specializing in Therapeutic Recreation from Concordia University. She has also earned a range of advanced certifications, including:

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) certification from PESI Gottman Level 1 Couples Therapy training Certified Trauma Professional credentials Psychological First Aid certification from Johns Hopkins University Additionally, Shannon incorporates therapeutic techniques from Internal Family Systems (IFS) and other modalities into her practice. Her approach is holistic, evidence-based, and tailored to meet each client’s unique needs.
